Insurance

• We strongly advise all owners to take out Pet Health Insurance.
• Taking out a policy will reduce the financial burden when your pet falls ill.
• Veterinary or Specialist fees may well exceed £2000 if your pet has a serious illness or, for example, is injured in a road traffic accident.
• If your pet is covered by an insurance policy and there are no exclusions, all you will have to pay is the excess, which may be as low as £50.00
• There are now estimated to be 365 different policies on offer!
• Make sure you shop around and, when comparing policies and the premium costs, make sure you check whether the policy is “lifelong” or a “12-month” cover.
• Remember to check the small print.
